Los Game Awards de Geoff Keighley, son los premios que llegaron a rescatar a los olvidados creando un evento totalmente diferente a otros. En esta premiación también conocida como GOTY se corona el talento y la creatividad de los creadores de videojuegos.
Algunas categorías son calificadas y seleccionadas por un jurado especialista y en otras los ganadores son elegidos por la audiencia a través de votaciones en línea que normalmente se realizan en su página oficial.
Esta edición cuenta con una categoría llamada “Mejor Juego del Año” y tiene a 5 nominados en la lista, que son:
